Episode 3 Summary: Color, Memory, and the Interdimensional Jacksons

September 26, 2026 by Michelee Leave a Comment

Episode 3 continues the conversation about NDEs and color while also returning to the debate introduced in Episode 2 about AI, creativity, and accessibility.

The episode begins with Michelee revisiting a debate with her son about the use of AI. Her son is concerned about AI disrupting people’s jobs, while Michelee focuses on another question: what happens when technology enables people who might otherwise struggle to participate creatively to finally bring their ideas into the world? She explains that, for her, AI isn’t about replacing human creativity but about helping transform ideas that have lived in her head for years into tangible work. She ultimately describes a compromise: using her son’s photography, commissioned artwork, and her own art for the book while reserving AI primarily for her website.

The episode then returns to the subject of color in NDEs, with an important clarification: Michelee presents her chakra interpretations as her own lived framework rather than scientifically established fact. She emphasizes that she is less interested in determining whether the colors came from chakras, the subconscious, neurological processes, or something spiritual than in describing what the colors felt like and what they seemed to communicate.

The centerpiece of the episode is an encounter with the Jackson family. Michelee recalls seeing the Jacksons singing and dancing in an experience that may have incorporated something she heard or saw while physically lying comatose. What stands out is the unusual palette: burnt sienna, dark brown, and rusted orange. Rather than the bright colors one might expect from a televised musical performance, the Jacksons appeared through an earthy, aged, almost oxidized palette.  She then examines each color symbolically.

The Jacksons themselves ultimately become more than people in the experience. Michelee considers them a symbolic vehicle representing themes such as family, childhood, music, performance, fame, creativity, sibling relationships, public versus private identity, transformation, success, and the passage of time. The unusual combination of Jackson family members appearing together suggests to her that the experience may have collapsed different periods of Jackson family history into a single scene.

The episode closes by explaining Michele’s larger belief system: she does not regard the experiences as unreal, but believes they occurred in other dimensions rather than in the ordinary reality she calls “HereNow.” She proposes that people may have interdimensional counterparts and that these counterparts might be benevolent or malevolent. This becomes part of her explanation for why she calls these experiences near-death experiences: because what is experienced may differ fundamentally from ordinary physical reality.

The central idea of Episode 3

Episode 2 asks: What if color is a language during an NDE?

Episode 3 takes that idea further: What if the combination of colors, people, memories, and symbols creates a larger language—one that tells a story about time, identity, transformation, and the life we are living?

The Jackson scene becomes the episode’s major example of that idea. The colors aren’t simply descriptions of what Micheleesaw. They become clues. And the episode suggests that understanding an NDE may require looking not only at what appeared, but at why those particular things appeared together, in those particular colors, at that particular moment.

Episode 3’s closing thought:

Believe… in the unbelievable

Episode 2 Summary: The Language of Color

September 19, 2026 by Michelee Leave a Comment

Episode 2 introduces the DNA Mafia podcast and explores one of the lesser-discussed aspects of near-death experiences: color and its possible symbolic meaning.

Drawing from her own NDEs, Michelee Elyse explains how she later studied the chakra system and began seeing connections between the colors she experienced and different areas of her life. One NDE was dominated by shades of yellow, which she associates with the solar plexus chakra and personal power. Because she experienced herself as powerless at the time, the yellow became a possible reflection of where she had surrendered power in her life.

Another experience was immersed in denim and dark blue, which she connects to the throat chakra, communication, self-expression, and, perhaps most importantly, boundaries. She interprets the darkness of the blue as reflecting a state in which she felt she had already said everything she needed to say, in her opinion, indicating an overactive throat chakra.

The episode expands beyond yellow and blue to introduce a broader palette, including fuchsia, burnt sienna, rust, and aqua, and the idea that colors in her experiences seemed to “speak” by directing her attention toward particular areas of her life.

A central theme emerges: an NDE may not be one single, continuous experience. Instead, it may contain multiple distinct environments, each with its own colors, emotions, symbolism, and lessons.

Ultimately, Episode 2 presents color as a potential language of consciousness, whether that language comes from the psyche, spirituality, or something beyond current understanding. The episode invites listeners to consider their own experiences of color and meaning while setting up the podcast’s larger exploration of NDEs, the multiverse, consciousness, and the paranormal.

Core takeaway:

The colors weren’t just something I saw. They felt like parts of my soul being shown.

Episode 1 Summary: Who Is Michelee Elyse?

September 9, 2026 by Michelee Leave a Comment

The pilot episode introduces Michelee Elyse, the host and author behind The DNA Mafia: A Near Death Experience. She shares her background as a mother of four, longtime teacher, author, aspiring public speaker, and future aspiring counselor for families dealing with loved ones in comas. She explains that her first book, Taming the Beast of Anxiety, grew out of the anxiety and trauma she experienced while revisiting aspects of her NDE.

The heart of the introduction is that Michelee’s NDE was very different from the stereotypical NDE story. She didn’t experience Jesus, a bright white light, or a conventional life review. Instead, she returned with extremely detailed memories and an overwhelming conviction that she had been kidnapped and cloned, with a “DNA Mafia” threatening to do the same to her children. The experience was so intense that she ultimately had to be restrained in her hospital bed.

She then describes the physical circumstances surrounding her near-death experience. She attributes her decline partly to the prolonged stress of a difficult marriage, combined with significant physical problems—including extremely heavy menstrual bleeding, anemia from iron loss, a viral infection, community-acquired pneumonia, and leukocytosis. She explains leukocytosis in accessible terms as an elevated white blood cell count, essentially the body’s “little army” responding to something that may be wrong.

The pilot also establishes why Micheleewants to create the podcast. She wants to raise awareness that NDEs aren’t necessarily peaceful or comforting experiences and that some people can emerge from them with significant anxiety and confusion. She also hopes eventually to support families whose loved ones are in comas, drawing from her own memories of hearing conversations and experiencing things around her hospital bedside.

Another storyline is Michele’s republication journey. After difficulties with the company that originally published her book—including unauthorized transfer of the manuscript, the book becoming unavailable on Amazon, and dissatisfaction with the editing—she decides to self-publish and work toward a new edition around the tenth anniversary of her NDE.

The second half of the episode introduces a major theme that later becomes its own episode: Michele’s debate with her son about AI.

Michelee wants to recreate some of the extraordinary environments and imagery from her NDE because she remembers their colors, scents, environments, and emotional qualities but struggles to translate those mental images into visual art. Her son, an accomplished photographer, objects to using AI because he believes it threatens artists’ jobs.

Michele’s response is not that AI is inherently better than artists. Her argument is that AI can provide access—particularly for someone dealing with ADHD and the difficulty of initiating and completing projects. She describes the difference between having a creative idea and being able to turn that idea into a finished product. For her, AI can help lower that barrier.

She emphasizes that using AI doesn’t mean she stops being the creator. She remains the person with the experience, the vision, and the artistic decisions. She describes repeatedly directing the process—rejecting images, changing colors and atmosphere, moving elements, and saying when something doesn’t capture what she remembers.

The episode then broadens the AI discussion into a larger question about technology and human capability. Micheleecompares AI with calculators, spellcheck, and cameras: technologies that changed what people could accomplish without necessarily eliminating the human contribution. At the same time, she acknowledges the legitimate ethical concerns surrounding AI, including artist compensation, consent, attribution, and unauthorized replication of artistic styles.

The central philosophical question becomes:

“What is AI making possible?”

For Michele, the answer is deeply personal: it may allow her to take experiences and ideas that have existed inside her head for years and finally make them tangible for other people.

We ultimately end with compromise rather than a winner. Micheleerecognizes her son’s concerns, while he remains part of the creative process through the photographs he has already taken for the book. Since self-publishing gives her greater freedom, she plans to use his photography, commissioned artwork, and her own art in the book, while reserving AI primarily for the website.

The central idea of the pilot

The pilot is essentially an introduction to both the woman and the philosophy behind the podcast.

It establishes three major questions that the series will explore:

  1. What can an NDE actually be like? — especially when it doesn’t resemble the traditional bright-light/Jesus/life-review narrative.
  2. What happens when someone returns from an NDE with memories that challenge their understanding of reality?
  3. How can technology—including AI—help someone turn extraordinary experiences and creative ideas into something other people can experience?

And underneath all three is the same theme: taking something that exists internally and finding a way to communicate it externally.

That makes the pilot a foundation for the episodes that follow: Micheleefirst tells us who she is, what happened to her, why she needs to tell the story, and why she is determined to get the story out of her head and into the world.

Takeaway:

Sometimes the biggest benefit isn’t that technology helps you do something faster. Sometimes… it’s that it helps you do it at all.

I find myself in a stairwell overlapping the dimension where the police officer in flashpoint came to rescue the victims of the shootout.
